Crime and Safety Awareness Days involve voluntary uniformed offices from the prison and police services. Schools Year 8 students  are removed from their normal daily school routine for the day and treated like prisoners.  They are escorted by officers in a disciplined manner through a series of interactive workshops designed to educate and inform regarding the reality of life in prison and consequences of choice
